Almost peaceful is a series of iPhone photos documenting the experience of spending my first summer in New York City. These imageries were all captured by an iPhone 5S as I started Instagramming.

It’s a journey of a new immigrant exploring an exciting modern city yet it is alienating. You can sense a combination of both alienation and intimacy.
